Pelargonium sidoides root extract EPs® 7630

Schwabe Pharmaceuticals researched and developed an extract of Pelargonium sidoides into a clinically and pharmacologically well documented modern medicine for upper respiratory tract infections. Unlike other cough and cold remedies, the unique extract EPs® 7630 contained in the preparation Kaloba® not only relieves symptoms, but also shortens the duration of the illness itself, thus reducing the time of absence from school or work. It has a unique pharmacological profile which is ideal for the treatment of respiratory tract infections: It activates anti-viral defence, fights bacteria, and is mucolytic. Kaloba® is suitable for adults and children up from the age of 1 year and well tolerated.
