History of Homeopathy

History of Homeopathy

Homoeopathy is a regulating therapy and acts by stimulating the body’s self healing powers. An individually chosen remedy is given in very small doses of highly diluted substances. It is a very effective treatment alteative in numerous acute and chronic cases and is in most cases superior to conventional medicine with regard to tolerability. Especially in chronic cases a constitutional treatment including all symptoms of one patient is often one of success.

The term homoeopathy comes from the greek words homoeo, meaning similar, and pathos, meaning suffering or disease.

The beginnings of homoeopathy go back to the findings, teachings and writings of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843).
